Project Overview
The Sumitomo Battery Energy Storage Container Project was carried out by TaiyoEnergy in October 2020.
This project required a high level of engineering expertise while maintaining an aggressive production schedule, making it difficult for a single manufacturer to complete independently. Prior to participating, TaiyoEnergy collaborated with several Vietnamese mechanical engineering manufacturers and competed against experienced Chinese container manufacturers with large-scale production facilities, skilled workforces, and well-established supply chains.
Following a rigorous evaluation process, TaiyoEnergy, SSG, and LGMEC Group were selected as the manufacturing partners for Sumitomo's Battery Energy Storage Container Project.
