TaiyoEnergy participated in the project supply chain as the manufacturer of BESS Enclosures for the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) developed and supplied by VinEnergo, contributing to the 50MW/100MWh energy storage project recently commissioned by EVNHANOI.
EVNHANOI has officially commissioned five Battery Energy Storage System - BESS at five 110kV substations in Hanoi, including Bắc Thăng Long, Quang Minh, Sài Đồng 2, Phùng Xá, and Thanh Oai. With a total capacity of 50MW/100MWh, the project marks a significant milestone in the application of energy storage technology within Hanoi's power distribution network.
Each BESS installation has a capacity of 10MW/20MWh, bringing the total project capacity to 50MW/100MWh. Each system consists of four standard 20-foot containers, with a nominal storage capacity of 5,015 kWh per container. As a result, each BESS installation can store approximately 20,000 kWh of electricity - enough to meet the daily electricity demand of nearly 2,000 households.

For this project, TaiyoEnergy was honored to participate in the supply chain as the manufacturer of the BESS Enclosures used in the energy storage systems developed and supplied by VinEnergo. The enclosures were manufactured to meet stringent technical requirements for structural integrity, durability, equipment protection, and the integration of auxiliary systems such as HVAC, electrical systems, and fire protection, ensuring the safe and reliable operation of the BESS.
Partnering with VinEnergo on this project represents an important milestone for TaiyoEnergy, demonstrating the company's capability to participate in the supply chain of large-scale energy projects in Vietnam. It also showcases TaiyoEnergy's expertise in manufacturing BESS Enclosures, specialized containers, and custom-engineered container solutions tailored to the technical requirements of both domestic and international customers.
